About Me
A quote from Malcolm X 1964 speech at the Audubon Ballroom really resonates with my approach to design, “I for one believe that if you give people a thorough understanding of what confronts them and the basic causes that produce it, they’ll create their own program, and when the people create a program, you get action.” He further elaborates that the most crucial, the most important role in any movement is played by the people, not the leaders.
With this in mind,  my approach to design is to be the facilitator. My job, as a designer and an aspiring architect, is not to lead, but to facilitate. To create a well-informed and comfortable environment for people to not only speak up on what change they want to see, but to know what power they hold.
